Whether your children are Jacks or Jills (or both), we think they may enjoy this physics-puzzler. When you download it, you get 50 levels to play, with a plot involving five ‘Piece Corps’ heroines who are trying to rescue their friends from an Evil Scientist.
The fun part comes when your child creates their own levels, adding obstacles and enemies to make their own brain-taxing tests. These can then be shared for other players to download, while browsing the levels they’ve made too.
The game is free to download and play, with tokens earned by playing levels, which can then be redeemed every month for new in-app ‘packs’. Or you can buy 6,000 tokens for a £2.99 in-app purchase, which is how the game makes its money.
Piece Corps is interesting, anyway, and one of a steadily-increasing number of games that get children creating levels as well as playing them – Ben 10 Game Generator 3 is another recent example.
Piece Corps is a free download for iPhone and iPad on the App Store, and it’s also available for Android devices, again as a free download.
