Monster High gets a brand new iPad magazine app in Europe

As parents of two boys aged four and six, we’re understandably not that familiar with the world of Monster High (key fanbase: 7-12 year-old girls).

We do know it’s popular, though, making Monster High apps something to shout about. There’s a new one today here in the UK from book publisher Egmont called The Monster High.

It’s a magazine-app for iPad offering stories, features, a create-your-own designs section, and a clever-sounding rewards system where fans earn digital “pins” to add new graphics and stickers to the design section.

Individual issues are sold via in-app purchase at £1.99 a pop, with the promise of lots more content to come in the months ahead.

The Monster High is a free download for iPad in Apple’s App Store, although American fans should note it’s not available in the US. It’s strictly European for now: the app is available in the UK and 21 other countries on this side of the Atlantic.
