Monitor your device's charging speed and battery health in real time while working at your computer. Ampere Charging measures the milliampere (mA) current flowing into your battery, estimates how long a full charge will take, and evaluates the quality of your charger cable. On a PC, it runs these readings visible alongside your other work windows, making it easy to spot slow chargers or power delivery problems without interrupting your workflow.
Ampere Charging on PC brings battery diagnostics to your desktop. Instead of checking your phone repeatedly, run the app on a larger screen where you can monitor charging metrics continuously. The display updates in real time, giving you immediate feedback on whether your current charger is delivering power efficiently.
What the App Measures
Ampere Charging offers a battery current meter that tracks the speed at which your device charges. It shows the milliampere capacity of your battery, calculates the percentage of charge remaining, and displays the voltage your charger is supplying. A live charging current display keeps you informed of power delivery from the moment you plug in, revealing whether you're using a fast or slow charger. The app also measures battery temperature to help you spot potential overheating during charging sessions.
Charging Time and Battery Saver Options
One of the app's core functions is predicting how long a full charge will take based on your current charging current and battery capacity. You can enable quick charging mode alongside a rapid device charging solution that limits background drain to optimize the charging speed, and the auto refresh feature updates readings continuously so you always see accurate data. Ampere Charging for Windows PC also lets you set battery saver mode and configure notifications: it can play a sound when your battery reaches full capacity, so you don't need to check back manually.
Cable and Charger Diagnostics
The volt power meter evaluates the quality of your USB, AC, or wireless charger cable. By comparing the charging current your charger delivers against your battery's capacity, you can determine whether you're using a reliable cable or one that limits power transfer. Running Ampere Charging on your computer keeps these diagnostic tools visible during work, making it practical to identify which chargers in your home work best and which ones need replacement.
