Running AutoVisit™ on a full computer keeps you signed in across longer work sessions, eliminating the constant re-authentication that interrupts mobile workflows. Home health and behavioral support providers often work from a desk (updating timecards, reviewing client information, and entering progress notes) where a persistent login and a physical keyboard make the routine faster and more reliable. AutoVisit™ for Windows PC lets you handle administrative tasks without the friction of mobile sign-in cycles, letting you focus on documentation instead of troubleshooting access.
AutoVisit™ brings billing integration and visit tracking into one application, designed for home and community-based service agencies. Providers, guardians, and administrators rely on it to log hours, manage client details, and maintain proof of visit for EVV compliance. Moving AutoVisit™ to PC smooths out the gaps that plague mobile-only use: session stability, data entry speed, and the option to keep the app running alongside email, timesheets, and other desktop tools.
Clocking In and Out Without Mobile Friction
A common workflow hurdle is the mobile sign-in loop. Providers switching between clients on a mobile device often find themselves locked out of the right account, or the app misplaces their location, triggering payment disputes. On PC, you can stay logged in for your entire shift, clock in and out without re-authenticating, and let AutoVisit™ track your hours without the interruptions that lead to lost work records. The application records client visits automatically, which serves as a reminder when you fill out your timecard and provides the EVV proof agencies require.
- Log in to AutoVisit™ at the start of your workday and remain signed in across multiple client visits
- Clock in when you arrive at each client's home or community location
- Enter progress notes and service details while still on-site or immediately after
- Clock out at the end of each visit, with the system recording the timestamp and location
- Review your completed hours on the desktop before submitting timecards or requesting payment
Desktop Messaging and Record Keeping for Agencies
AutoVisit™ on PC transforms how agency administrators and providers coordinate. Instead of toggling between the mobile app and email, you can open AutoVisit™ in one window and manage communications directly within the platform. Desktop messaging between administrators and providers keeps all visit-related discussion in one place, reducing the chance that critical updates about client care or payment approvals get lost in a separate email inbox.
Adding Notes and Claims in Real Time
Progress notes are easier to write on a keyboard than on a phone screen. AutoVisit™ lets you add detailed notes to a visit and attach service claims without switching between applications. Sitting at a desk with AutoVisit™ for computer open, you can fill out multiple client records in a single session, pull up contact information when you need it, and compile the documentation that agencies and billing systems demand.
Stable Sign-In for Guardians and Approvers
Guardians and secondary approvers often face the same login problems as direct-care staff. Some accounts require a second email or device to approve work hours, creating redundant steps and authentication delays. Running AutoVisit™ on Windows PC lets you keep an approval account signed in on one dedicated machine, letting you quickly review and authorize provider hours without the mobile app's session timeouts or location-based sign-out behavior.
Bridging Mobile Visits and Desktop Administration
Many providers use AutoVisit™ on their phone in the field and then switch to a desktop to finalize records. Having install AutoVisit™ on PC as well lets you continue where mobile left off, reviewing the visits the app logged, correcting location data if it was recorded incorrectly, and submitting timecards with all your notes intact. The desktop version keeps you in the same account ecosystem, so data flows between devices without re-entry.

FAQ
Can I stay logged in on my work computer all day?
Yes. AutoVisit™ on PC maintains your session much longer than the mobile app, letting you clock multiple clients without re-entering credentials. This eliminates the repeated sign-in interruptions that often trigger login errors on phones.
What if my location is recorded incorrectly?
AutoVisit™ sometimes places you at the wrong address, especially on mobile. On a desktop, you can refresh the location or correct it before submitting your timecard, reducing the chance of a billing dispute caused by location data.
Can I use AutoVisit™ for PC to approve my own work as a guardian?
If your role requires secondary approval, you may need to sign out and use a secondary account email. Running AutoVisit™ on Windows PC lets you keep a second device or browser logged in under your approval account, making the process faster than on mobile.
Does the app work if my client is not at home?
AutoVisit™ ties clock-in and clock-out to location data. If a client is at a community location, grandparent's house, or other non-primary address, the app may block clocking in or out until your location data updates. This is a known limitation across both mobile and desktop versions.
Will I lose work hours when I update AutoVisit™?
Updates sometimes cause glitches, including hour-entry errors and data display issues. Before updating, clock out fully and verify your hours are saved. If an update causes a problem, contact your agency administrator to restore missing time records.
Is there Spanish-language support in AutoVisit™?
AutoVisit™ currently operates in English. Guardians and users who require Spanish-language access for account setup or navigation may need to contact HCBS Central to request future localization or workarounds.
