Need to broadcast your screen to dozens of devices at once while keeping full control from your desktop? DisplayNote turns your PC into a presentation hub where you can mirror content in real time, annotate over any resource, and let remote participants collaborate live on what you're sharing. Teachers, trainers, and team leads use it to pose response questions, monitor understanding, and see individual participant screens: all without leaving your desk.

DisplayNote on PC transforms how presenters and educators manage group sessions. Running the app on your computer lets you keep other windows open (email, documents, media files) while managing the broadcast from one central location. You stay signed in to your session on the same machine, eliminating the friction of logging in and out across devices.

Broadcasting and Real-Time Collaboration

DisplayNote lets you mirror your PC screen to 40 or more connected devices simultaneously. As the presenter, you can open any resource (web pages, images, slideshows) annotate directly over the content, and save everything for later review. Participants see your annotations in real time and can add their own notes on their devices, creating a shared workspace without anyone needing to move closer to a physical board. The app functions as a whiteboard sketching tool, allowing you to work on ready-made backgrounds and share those instantly with your audience.

Presenter Controls and Session Management

An intuitive session manager keeps you in command. You can pose response questions to any connected device and view results to check understanding across the group. Private messaging lets you communicate one-on-one with any participant. If you need to pause a session, pause it for everyone at once. You can also view any participant's screen in real time, making it easy to provide targeted feedback or troubleshoot together. Wireless control means you're not tethered to the presentation machine: you can move around while managing the broadcast from a mobile device if needed.

Participant Capture and Export

Attendees using DisplayNote on their own devices can capture your presentation content, personalize it with their own notes, and save both together for later review. They can export individual slides or entire presentations via email or send them directly to Dropbox. This turns a live session into reusable study material or documentation that each participant owns.

Multimodal Sharing Options

DisplayNote isn't limited to screen mirroring. You can take a live image or upload a saved photo and instantly share it with connected devices. This flexibility letting you pivot mid-session (from a prepared presentation to a photograph or a live capture from your PC) without breaking the flow. The app works well across tablets and mobile devices, though the interface can feel cramped on smaller screens.

How to Download and Install DisplayNote for PC or MAC:

Select an Android emulator:  There are many free and paid Android emulators available for PC and MAC, few of the popular ones are Bluestacks, Andy OS, Nox, MeMu and there are more you can find from Google.

Finally, download and install the emulator which will work well with your PC's hardware/software.

  1. Open the emulator software from the start menu or desktop shortcut in your PC.

FAQ

Can I run DisplayNote on my PC and still use other applications?

Yes. Running DisplayNote on Windows or another desktop system lets you keep your email, file manager, and other tools open in the background. You manage the presentation from your computer while the broadcast goes out to participant devices.

What happens if I need to join multiple sessions?

The app may retain session IDs from your first join, which can prevent switching to another session without clearing that data. Check the app settings or contact support if you encounter issues moving between sessions.

How do participants save and share what they've captured?

Participants can export individual slides or whole presentations via email or directly to Dropbox. They keep their own annotated copies alongside the original content for future reference.

Is the interface easy to navigate on a computer?

DisplayNote's interface was improved in recent versions and works smoothly on standard monitors. On very small screens, some menu text and buttons can feel cramped, but a full desktop display provides ample room to manage sessions and access all controls.

Can I see who in my audience is following along?

Yes. The session manager lets you pose response questions to connected devices and monitor answers in real time. You can also view individual participant screens to check their progress or understanding.
