Cardiologists and medical technicians who need to manage ECG tracings across a full workday benefit from ECG Expert on a computer, where keyboard input and a persistent workspace keep reports and patient data within easy reach. ECG Expert pairs with your CSE ECGExpert device to capture, annotate, and store electrocardiograms in a structured, compliant environment. On PC, you can compare multiple reports side by side, keep patient worklists open during patient sessions, and send DICOM and PDF exports without switching devices.
ECG Expert transforms how medical teams conduct and document cardiac assessments when run on a PC. The app is built to work exclusively with a CSE ECGExpert device (IEC 60601 certified), turning your computer into a full ECG management station where acquisition, analysis, and reporting happen in one place.
Core ECG Capture and Display Modes
ECG Expert supports both 6 and 12-lead electrocardiograms, with configurable paper speeds of 10, 25, and 50 mm/s to match clinical protocol. Two operational modes serve different workflows:
- 10-second mode for rapid single-beat acquisition and immediate clinical review
- Continuous mode for extended monitoring and rhythm strip collection
- Heart Rate and QRS annotator for automated interval measurement
- Normal/abnormal classifier to flag findings that warrant further review
- Ruler function for manual caliper work and custom measurements
- Text annotations to document clinical observations directly on the ECG
Patient Management and Report Workflow on Your Desktop
On a PC, ECG Expert keeps patient records, reports, and worklists visible simultaneously: a setup that streamlines clinic or hospital sessions. Read patient ID directly from barcode or QR codes to pull up the right chart instantly. Compare current and prior reports side by side on a full screen to spot changes in rhythm or intervals. Text annotations remain attached to each record for clinical notes without paper handling.
Data Export and Cloud Integration
ECG Expert sends reports via email in both DICOM and PDF formats, meeting institutional and referral requirements. Upload completed studies to CSE Cloud for secure, centralized storage and access. The app is fully DICOM compliant (supporting C-ECHO test, C-STORE operations, and Modality Worklist SCP query) so it integrates into hospital network workflows without manual workarounds.
