Hello Chinese displays stroke order animations and pronunciation guides as you input characters, making it straightforward to study writing patterns at your own pace. Running Hello Chinese on PC lets you work through Chinese learning sessions without switching between your phone and desktop, keeping your study materials in one place while you reference other windows or documents.
Hello Chinese brings core Chinese learning tools to your PC, where a larger workspace and persistent login can anchor your daily study routine. The app focuses on three main learning paths: handwriting fundamentals, spoken language, and classical poetry.
How Stroke Order and Handwriting Work
- Enter a character in the input box or use voice input via the microphone icon
- Select "Input Learning" to see animated stroke sequences
- Adjust the animation speed to match your learning pace
- Review the complete stroke order as many times as needed
- Move to the next character when ready
Pronunciation and Poetry Lookup
Alongside handwriting practice, Hello Chinese offers pronunciation learning: input any character and tap "Query Learning" to hear how it sounds. For those interested in classical verse, the app includes a searchable collection of Tang Dynasty poems organized by author, category, and keyword, letting you study Learn Chinese Mandarin alongside historical texts.
Desktop Study Sessions
On a PC, Hello Chinese works well as a side-by-side learning tool. Keep the app open in one window while you take notes, browse reference materials, or chat with study partners in another. Your session persists on your computer, which means you can return to where you left off without re-entering login details each time. Free Mandarin instruction materials sit ready whenever you have time to practice, making it easy to fit learning into your workflow.
