Do you process payments from a desk or stationary checkout, and want to keep your transaction history and customer data on a screen you can easily monitor without tethering yourself to your phone? iProcess™ lets you handle credit card transactions on your computer with the same encrypted security and simple login flow as the mobile app. Running iProcess™ on a full computer keeps your merchant account details and transaction records centrally, letting you stay signed in throughout your workday while toggling between other business tasks.

iProcess™ is a payment-processing app built for merchants who need fast, secure credit card transactions. On a desktop or laptop, it gains a new advantage: The app stays it open alongside your accounting software, email, or other work windows without hunting for your phone. The core workflow remains the same: sign in with your gateway credentials, swipe or key in card details, and watch the transaction complete, but a larger, persistent display and keyboard input make the process smoother during busy sales periods or back-office reconciliation.

What You Can Do with iProcess™ on Your Computer

iProcess™ handles the full range of payment tasks directly from your PC:

  • Process swiped, keyed, and chip card transactions for sales and credits using a compatible card reader
  • View your complete transaction history in one searchable location
  • Refund and void previous transactions without leaving your desk
  • Set tax rates that apply automatically across all sales
  • Collect signatures digitally and store them with each transaction
  • Send email receipts automatically or share them through your device's native apps

Security Built for Desktop Workflow

iProcess™ uses encrypted card-reader hardware and encryption that meets PCI-DSS requirements, protecting both your business and your customers' card data. When you run iProcess™ on Windows PC, that same security layer travels with you. The app lets you name your device in the merchant control panel, so if you process payments from multiple computers, you can tell them apart in your reporting. You can save customer information to the Customer Vault (where available) and add, edit, or delete customer records directly from your desktop.

Staying Organized with Desktop Integration

One practical advantage of installing iProcess™ on PC is location tracking: the app records where each transaction occurred, useful for multi-site merchants or field sales teams who also need a stationary record-keeping point. Running iProcess™ for Windows PC lets you keep your merchant account history synced across devices, and you can toggle between multiple merchant accounts if you manage more than one business. Email receipts arrive automatically, and customers can pull receipts from nearly any application on the system, streamlining your customer service workflow during high-volume days. While iProcess™ for computer operates through the same gateway as the mobile version, desktop processing means your payment terminal and your office work stay connected and visible on the same monitor.

Device Management and Account Flexibility

Installing iProcess™ on PC works best when you pair it with your merchant service provider's card reader. The app connects to your processor's gateway, so you'll need active internet and valid credentials to begin. Once set up, you gain access to your saved customer vault, full transaction logs, and reporting features directly from your workstation. Teams using tools like iSolved remote employee tracking can also benefit from iProcess™ on PC, keeping payment records separate from workforce monitoring while maintaining desktop-based payment security.

FAQ

Can I use iProcess™ on my computer if I only have the mobile app now?

Yes. iProcess™ runs on Windows PC and connects to the same merchant gateway account. You'll sign in with your existing credentials, and your transaction history, customer vault, and account settings carry over. You still need a compatible card reader from your merchant service provider to process swiped or chip transactions.

Do I need my phone to use iProcess™ on PC?

No. Once iProcess™ is installed on your computer and you're signed in, you can process payments, view history, and manage customers from the desktop alone. Your phone doesn't need to be present or connected.

What card reader works with iProcess™ on Windows?

Your merchant service provider supplies or recommends compatible card readers. Check with them before purchasing, not all readers work with every processor. The card reader connects on your PC via audio jack, USB, or wireless depending on the model and your setup.

Can I process payments offline with iProcess™?

No. iProcess™ requires an active internet connection to communicate with your payment processor and authorize transactions. Attempting a transaction without internet will return a connection error.

Will my email receipts work the same on PC as on mobile?

Yes. iProcess™ sends email receipts automatically on both platforms. You can also share receipts through your computer's native email, browser, or messaging apps, just as you would on a phone.
