The Pursue Journal feature in My Church App lets you maintain a personal record of your spiritual reflections and Bible passages, with the convenience of cloud access across devices. Running My Church App on a full computer giving you the ability to leave your journal open while reading scripture in another window, typing longer entries with a real keyboard instead of a mobile screen. Your entries sync automatically to www.PursueJournal.com, so your thoughts and study notes stay organized whether you log in from desktop or phone.
My Church App centers on three core activities: listening to sermons from your church's podcast library, reading Bible passages through an integrated digital Bible, and maintaining a personal journal of your spiritual reflections. On a desktop, these tools work together naturally: you can reference a sermon while jotting notes, or keep a Bible passage visible while composing journal entries without constantly switching between small mobile views.
Sermon Access and Audio Bible
The podcast feature stores your church's latest sermons and past messages in one searchable library, letting you revisit teachings on your own schedule. An audio Bible option giving you the ability to listen to passages read aloud while you work or study. The listen controls sit persistently at the bottom of the screen, so playback remains accessible no matter which section of My Church App you're browsing. This setup works especially well when you're settled at a desktop and want sermons playing in the background while you read along or journal.
Pursue Journal and Daily Reading Plan
The Pursue Journal is a private, free space to record your thoughts and reflections. My Church App includes a structured daily Bible reading plan (the Pursue plan) designed to take you through the Old Testament once yearly and the New Testament twice yearly, with sessions averaging around 15 minutes. Your journal entries are stored securely, yet you can add to them anytime via the cloud at www.PursueJournal.com. On PC, this giving you the ability to type longer, more detailed reflections without the friction of mobile typing, and entries sync instantly to your church's app and the web portal.
Sharing and Church Community
My Church App integrates social sharing giving you the ability to send Bible passages, journal thoughts, or readings directly to Twitter, Facebook, or email. This positions the app as a church communication center where personal reflection and group connection overlap. Sharing from a desktop with keyboard input is faster than mobile sharing, and you can easily compose messages that accompany your shared content. The integration means your spiritual insights can reach friends and church members with just a few clicks.
Setup and Cross-Device Sync
Once you log in with your church account on your PC, My Church App keeps you signed in during your study sessions. The cloud-based journal means anything you write on desktop is instantly available if you later open the app on your phone, or vice versa. This makes My Church App for Windows a practical addition to your regular computer setup: your spiritual reading plan and personal reflection space travel with you across devices.
