FAQ

Does VEX via PC version have the same features as the mobile app?

VEX via on PC delivers the core features: event listings, team rankings, match results, and score alerts. Some platform differences exist (the iOS app has historically had more search refinement and location filtering options) but the desktop version provides the essential tournament tracking tools most users rely on.

Can I receive notifications on my computer?

Yes. When you run VEX via on Windows PC and stay signed in, score alerts for your monitored teams arrive through the app. This setup works especially well for coaches or parents who spend hours at a computer during competition season.

How often does the app update event data?

VEX via downloads result updates as events unfold, but timing can vary. Real-time result reporting depends on how quickly data is published to the system: sometimes there are delays, particularly if you're relying on Android. If results don't appear right away, waiting a few minutes or refreshing the app usually resolves the issue.

What should I do if the app won't load event data?

If VEX via on PC stops displaying tournament information, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Data loading problems sometimes occur, and a fresh install typically restores normal operation.

Can I search for teams in the current version?

Team search works in the current build, though filtering reliability varies. If search doesn't return results or the app doesn't filter properly, closing and reopening the app usually resets the search function.
