Browsing a digital game marketplace while sitting at your desk opens up the chance to queue purchases and manage your library without leaving your workspace. Viveport brings VR content discovery on your PC screen, letting you explore and plan what to experience in headset later. The app surfaces selections across art, education, music, travel, and other categories, and anything you buy syncs automatically to your Vive dashboard once you're in the headset.
Viveport on PC changes how you shop for VR experiences. Instead of waiting until you're ready to use your headset, you can browse, compare, and add titles to your library during downtime. The app pairs with your existing Vive software installation, so purchases appear in your library on the Vive dashboard without manual intervention.
Browsing and Planning on Your Terms
A digital game marketplace thrives when you can explore without pressure. Viveport lets you use your keyboard and mouse to scroll through featured destinations, read descriptions, and make decisions at your own pace. You queue up selections through the mobile app on your computer, and they're ready to launch from your headset whenever you sit down to play. This workflow which lets you shop between other tasks (checking email, working on documents) without the distraction of headset setup.
Library Management Across Your Devices
Purchases made through Viveport for Windows PC sync smoothly to your Vive dashboard and Vive software. Once you've browsed and selected content on your computer, opening your headset shows everything in one place. Your account stays consistent across devices, so you don't manage separate wishlists or repeat transactions. The desktop interface gives you a stable view of your subscription status and available titles before you ever put on the headset.
Discovering Content Across Categories
Viveport showcases experiences spanning design, creativity tools, fashion, sports, and video alongside games. Using Viveport on your PC lets you explore this range without the immersion of the headset, giving you time to decide what suits your mood. Browse at full resolution on a larger screen, compare offerings side-by-side, and build a curated queue. This approach works especially well if you want to plan a session in advance or explore unfamiliar categories before diving in.
Community and Support
The Viveport community forum welcomes users to ask questions and share experiences. Having Viveport installed on your computer keeps you connected to this space: you can read discussions, post about your discoveries, and troubleshoot issues without switching contexts. If you're learning about a new title or seeking advice, the community remains accessible alongside your browsing.

FAQ
What happens to my purchases when I sync Viveport with my headset?
Anything you buy through Viveport on PC appears in your Vive dashboard and Vive software library automatically. Make sure you have the latest version of Vive software installed on your computer so the sync works correctly.
Can I see subscription details in the app?
Viveport includes a game subscription service that offers a rotating selection of titles. Check your account status within the app to confirm what's included in your plan and which titles you have access to.
Why does Viveport ask for contact permissions when I sign in?
The app requests contact access to notify you of incoming calls or texts while you're using the headset. If you prefer not to grant this permission, you can use the browser-based version of Viveport instead.
Do I need a PC to run Viveport, or can I use it on mobile alone?
Viveport works as a companion app on your phone or tablet, but to actually play the VR experiences you purchase, you'll need a PC with a Vive headset connected. The app handles browsing and queuing; the PC and headset handle playback.
Will my library stay up to date across multiple sessions?
Yes. Once Viveport for computer is linked to your Vive account and the latest Vive software is installed, your library updates whenever you make a purchase. You stay signed in on one machine, which means you can jump back in without re-authenticating each time.
