Do you need to monitor and control your wells from a desktop workstation instead of just a mobile device? XSPOC brings comprehensive well management to your desktop, letting you access real-time data, view diagnostic graphs, and adjust set points all from one place. This integration of Theta's software turns your PC into a full command center for pump-off controllers, submersibles, flow controllers, and other wellhead devices, giving you a larger workspace for complex analysis and faster input when managing multiple operations.
XSPOC on your PC combines the mobility of Theta's mobile app with the power of desktop computing. Running XSPOC for Windows gives you persistent access to your well data without switching devices, alongside your email, spreadsheets, and other business tools. The desktop version maintains full feature parity with the mobile platform while letting you work for longer sessions without battery concerns.
Monitor Live Data and Historical Trends
The core workflow in XSPOC unfolds in layers. First, you log in with your credentials to access your assigned groups and wells. Next, you search for and select the specific well you want to analyze, viewing its name, pumping unit type, communication status, run status, and last scan time before opening the detailed screen. Then, you scan the well to see live readings. POC data, rod loading, wellhead pressures, efficiency percentages, and values specific to your unit type (Conventional, PCP, ESP, Mark 2, Air Balance, Rotaflex, or Hydraulic). Finally, you compare surface, downhole, POC, and predicted diagnostic cards by selecting date ranges and zooming into the graph to spot trends.
- Log in and search across your groups to locate the well you need to review
- Open the well status screen to check communication, run status, and last scan time
- Scan live data to view current POC readings, pressures, and efficiency metrics
- Select a date range and zoom into historical graphs to compare performance cards
- Reference well notes to track the latest activity and service history
Control Wells and Adjust Settings from Your Desk
Managing wells from a desktop environment streamlines routine operations. You can edit set points directly in XSPOC and push changes to the POC without leaving your chair. Start, stop, idle, enable, or disable any well, clear alarms, and even control operations from anywhere in the world: all executed through keyboard input that feels faster than tapping a mobile screen. A persistent login on your desktop PC means you stay connected to your wells across the workday, reducing friction when you need to make quick adjustments or respond to alerts without picking up your phone.
A Multi-Device Well Management Platform
XSPOC integrates all of Theta's software tools into one ecosystem that works across mobile and desktop. The system supports multiple wellhead device types and adds new hardware compatibility over time. Whether you're an engineer at the office or an oil industry professional in the field, running XSPOC for computer environments ensures that your well control data, diagnostics, and operational commands flow through a single, authenticated system. Licensing and permissions protect your data while giving your team appropriate access levels.
