They’ve been long-jumping in the garden, running laps of the living-room rug and getting excited about the sailing even though they haven’t got a clue what’s going on.
(In fairness, neither have we in the latter case.)
Anyway, sports are in. And Zoo Champs may be just the app to build on that sentiment once the Games are done and dusted. Subtitled ‘sports guide for kids’, this iPad app aims to explain a series of sports using… animals.
Hippos swimming? Check. Ostriches running? Check. Flamingos in the gymnasium? Check. It’s a nice idea, and puts a friendlier face on the educational content explaining how all these sports work.
Zoo Champs is aimed at 4-8 year-olds, and costs £1.49 for iPad. Just the thing for newly sports-mad children this summer.
