Apps Playground is a news site focusing on the best iPhone, iPad and Android apps for kids.
Millions of parents are buying and downloading apps for their children, including games, educational apps and creative toys. But with thousands to choose from, finding the best can feel like rummaging through a haystack in search of a needle.
That’s where we come in, with news on the most interesting and fun new apps, and reviews of the apps that our children are loving. It’s written by two people: Stuart Dredge and Alice Whitaker. We’re a freelance journalist and market researcher respectively, and we are also the parents of two young sons.
Ethics: We don’t ever charge developers for reviews or coverage. Some sites do, but that model’s not for us.
But while this means there’s nobody paying to jump our to-do queue, it also means that queue can sometimes be long – and when we’re particularly overwhelmed, we’re not always the fastest at replying to emails. We’re getting better, though!
