Do your children believe in Disney Fairies? Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity certainly does: it’ll be benefitting from sales of Disney’s new app between now and Christmas.

The app is Disney Fairies: Lost & Found, and it’s a hidden-objects game for iPhone and iPad set in Pixie Hollow. Children will be spotting lost objects – animals, treasure etc – against the clock, with a cast of film fairies to interact with.

Playing through the game will unlock a story: Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings, so there’s a tangible reward for playing.

The game has gone on sale for 69p initially, although this will rise at some point. For every copy bought between now and Christmas Day, Disney is donating £1 to Great Ormond Street.
