Stuart Dredge is a freelance technology journalist who founded Apps Playground in September 2010. He started the site to help parents and readers cut through the thousands of new apps and games arriving on iPhone, iPad and Android, and to highlight the ones genuinely worth downloading.
Apps Playground grew to more than 1.2 million readers, with a strict policy of never charging developers for reviews or coverage. That same independent, hands-on approach guides the site today, including its step-by-step guides to running Android apps on Windows PC and Mac.
