Have you (or your children) ever seen Anorak Magazine? If not, it’s well worth hunting down.
It’s a well-crafted (print) magazine for children that’s a refreshing break from its plastic-covermounts-and-sweets-galore rivals.
Anorak already has its own app, but now it has a new spin-off for iPhone called Happy Stickers.
It’s a silly (in the best possible way) photo-editing app for children, where they augment their snaps with a choice of more than 100 digital ‘stickers’.
Anorak says they range from “cute carrots to hippy worms, from goofy cats to happy hedgehogs” and is promising to add more throughout the year.
We’ve been having a play, and the app is great fun. It’s aimed at slightly older children: 12-13 year-olds just getting on Facebook and Instagram for the first time, we’d say – the app can share to both, as well as Twitter and Pinterest.
Happy Stickers costs £0.79 for iPhone from Apple’s App Store.
