This update focuses on behind-the-scenes fixes and stability improvements to keep the app running smoothly. New features are in the works, so check back soon for what's coming next.

The Talking Book feature in MKCL Learner turns your computer into an interactive learning station: point your camera at a printed IT textbook page and watch instructional videos appear on screen. Built by educators with industry expertise, MKCL Learner brings structured computer courses, aptitude tests, and career-planning tools to students, teachers, and adult learners across subjects like web design, networking, programming, and business management. Running MKCL Learner on PC lets you keep the app alongside your other work, stay signed into one account across sessions, and access course materials without switching devices.
MKCL Learner is designed for learners at every level: from students preparing for entrance exams to professionals upskilling in IT. The platform pools instructional content, self-assessment tools, and progress tracking in one place, so you can move through courses at your own pace while keeping tabs on your marks and session history.
What You Can Access Through MKCL Learner
The app covers a broad range of computer and professional topics: basic IT literacy, creative design, web design, audio and video editing, hardware and networking, finance, and business management. Alongside structured courses, MKCL Learner includes free diagnostic tests such as aptitude assessments, engineering branch selection guides, science explorations, personality profiling eTests, and artistic inclination evaluations. This mix means you can study course material one moment and check your readiness for a competitive exam the next, all within the same app.
Session and Progress Tracking on Your Desktop
When you use MKCL Learner on your computer, you can sit at one desk with your study materials open and the app running alongside other windows. The app displays your session history and internal marks in one consistent view, so you know exactly where you stand in your course. Keeping MKCL Learner for Windows PC signed into the same account means your progress syncs across your study sessions, and you don't have to log back in every time you return to a lesson.
The Talking Book: A Core Learning Tool
One standout feature in MKCL Learner is the Talking Book: a camera-based interaction that recognizes printed textbook pages and triggers related video lectures. This bridges traditional study materials with digital instruction, letting you reference a physical book while the app plays explanatory content. The feature works best on a larger screen where you can comfortably view both your book and the video playback.
Building Knowledge Across Multiple Subjects
MKCL Learner's course catalog spans foundational and advanced computing topics. When you're learning the basics of IT or tackling more complex subjects like web design or hardware networking, the app groups your courses and tests in one central hub. You can browse the syllabus before starting a new session, plan which course to take next, and share your learning progress with others. Over one crore students already use the platform, and new course activities are being added regularly to expand what you can do inside the app.

What content is available to watch if I don't have a physical MS-CIT textbook?
MKCL Learner includes video lectures, aptitude tests, and diagnostic eTests that don't require a printed book. The Talking Book feature specifically works with MS-CIT textbooks, but the broader course library and test materials are available to all students regardless of whether they have a physical copy.
Can I complete full coursework and submit assignments through MKCL Learner?
Currently, the app displays your session attendance and marks. Full course activities, typing exercises, online test submissions, and portfolio features are being developed and will be added in future updates. When you stay signed into the same MKCL Learner account, your session history and marks remain consistent. Install MKCL Learner on PC using your existing login credentials, and your course progress will be visible across both devices.
Is all the course content actually taught by experts?
MKCL develops courses with instructors who have industry experience and practical knowledge in their fields. The content ranges from basic computing concepts to advanced topics, though some users have noted that video lecture coverage for certain textbooks is still being expanded.
