We’ve seen the cheeky lamb from TV show Timmy Time on iOS before: a book-app in October 2011 narrated by Josie Lawrence. Now he’s back with something more educational.
It’s called Timmy’s Number Tracing, and is the work of Pearson Education’s Learn at Home team – the same people behind the Check Your Phonics app we wrote about last night – working with Timmy creator Aardman Animations.
The title explains its focus: this is aimed at 3-5 year-olds learning to recognise and write their numbers. In this case, it’s Timmy and his animal schoolfriends helping them to learn.
Timmy’s Number Tracing costs £1.49 on the App Store, and is a universal app so will run on your iPhone, iPad and/or iPod touch without you having to pay more than once.
