Nosy Crow may have created the definitive Three Little Pigs book-app (so far), but we’re tickled by a new iPad version from Russian developer Sozdano called The Three Little Pigs Story.
Why? Take a look at the screenshot of its title screen. Every illustration in the book-app is made from plasticine then animated using stop-motion techniques, to give it a hand-crafted feel.
“This book is created to invite children to fantasize. We aimed to draw them away from typical computer stuff and virtual reality, get them back to real games, awake their imagination,” says the developer in its App Store listing.
The book has 17 pages of story, voice narration and music. Be warned, your child will probably expect you to be able to make pigs out of plasticine after reading this, but at least you have some pictures to work from.
The Three Little Pigs Story costs £1.99 for iPad.
