Monsters vs Superheroes Comic Book Maker hits iPhone and iPad

Monsters and superheroes. Fun apart, but even better together. Something kid-apps developer Duck Duck Moose clearly knows, judging by its new app Monsters vs Superheroes Comic Book Maker.

The app wants to get children creating their own stories by dragging and dropping monsters, superheroes and other animated stickers onto a rang of scenes, from skyscrapers and spaceships to the Wild West.

They can also record their own voice and tap stickers to make their mouths move, to create a story with sounds and dialogue. Expect ninjas, dinosaurs and some superheroes that may seem familiar (in an ENTIRELY non-copyright-infringing way, obviously…)

For kids who are still a bit young to be creating comics, there are colouring pages too. It looks great fun, and polished too.

Monsters vs Superheroes Comic Book Maker is available in separate versions: one for iPhone and iPod touch and one for iPad. Both cost £1.49 on the App Store. Here’s a video showing how it all works:
