US publisher Oceanhouse Media has spent the last few years turning the Dr. Seuss books into polished book-apps for iOS and Android. Now the company has a new app, Dr. Seuss Bookshelf, to help organise them all.
Released for iPhone and iPad, it’s a free download that has two main roles. It’s a single place from which to launch any Dr. Seuss apps that you already have on the device, as well as being a way to browse the ones you don’t yet own that are available from Apple’s App Store, sorting them by type, price or age.
If you get the Bookshelf on iPad, there are a couple of extra features: the ability to see new releases and get notified when book-apps are on sale or free, and an option to set certain books as favourites, rearranging them into whatever order you like.
Dr. Seuss Bookshelf is a free download on the App Store, and is universal for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
