Winnie the Pooh Wonders and Wanders in Disney’s new free app

Winnie the Pooh. Winnie the Pooh. Tubby little cubby all stuffed with… ARGH. It’s in our heads for the rest of the day now. Thanks, Disney.

Still, that’s not so bad: we love Winnie the Pooh, and we’re very intrigued by his brand new app for iPhone and iPad. It’s called Winnie the Pooh Wonder and Wander, and came out yesterday.

The App Store listing says it’s all about “creating happy fun and sharing whimsical discoveries”, all based around your child exploring a virtual Hundred Acre Wood.

“Tap on everything and watch it come to life! Rustle through the trees and watch the leaves fall. Move the Sun up and down and watch the sky change from Day to Night,” explains the listing.

“Travel through different parts of the Hundred Acre Wood and encourage your child to learn about music. Help your child create a masterpiece in the color and paint section.”

It looks beautifully done, with lots of creative features for Pooh fans young and old alike. Winnie the Pooh Wonder and Wander is also a free download from the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
