Disney Carnival gives your kids a taste of lots of Disney apps

Disney has released dozens of apps for children over the last few years, including storybooks, interactive comics and digital toys based on some of its most famous films. Now there’s an app to help you discover the best of them.

It’s called Disney Carnival, and was released yesterday for iPhone and iPad. Based around a carnival theme, it promises puzzles, colouring and music, but also a directory of all the Disney apps that are available.

“For each title there is a short description presenting the content, the story and the features and a sizzle with a preview of the app and experience,” explains its App Store listing. Sizzle? That’d be a trailer video, so you can see what the apps are like.

Disney Carnival is a free download on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It may come in very handy if you’re thinking of getting your children some of the company’s apps for Christmas…
