The Dr. Panda series of children’s apps are making a name for themselves, and the latest has a practical focus.
Dr. Panda’s Handyman was released this week for iPhone and iPad, and focuses on home improvement. The virtual kind, meaning your kids won’t be bashing at your walls with hammers and nails.
“Hammers, wrenches, pliers and more are there for you and your kid to help Dr. Panda complete a number of household projects from building a wall to installing a bathtub,” explains its App Store listing.
The app includes 13 different activities for 2-6 year-olds, each introducing a different tool and/or job. Kids can also mix up their own digital paints to give each project a splash of their own colour.
Dr. Panda’s Handyman costs £1.49 on the App Store, and runs on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Developer TribePlay promises there are no in-app purchases or third-party ads to surprise parents, either.
