It’s always fun (mostly in a good way) putting children in charge of buying birthday and/or Christmas cards in the shops. So how much more fun would it be for them to design them?
That’s the idea behind Toonia Cardcreator, a new release from the developer of the Toonia Storymaker story-creation app that we wrote about earlier this year.
“Toonia Cardcreator lets your kids design their own greeting cards in a fun and creative way,” explains its App Store listing.
“Choose between Happy Birthday, Get Well Soon, Summertime and School Days themes to create a birthday card for Dad, birthday party invitations for friends, a get well card for a classmate, a postcard for Grandma, flyers for a school event or a thank you note to a teacher…”
The digital cards can be saved and printed out, or shared via email, Facebook and Twitter. The developer reckons that it can be used by children as young as four, although it sounds fun for collaboration between kids and parents too.
(With the children in charge, obviously!)
Toonia Cardcreator costs £0.69 ($0.99) for iPad on Apple’s App Store. Here’s a demo video:
