New children’s apps for Android devices are coming thick and fast this year, with P2 Games‘ latest pair focusing on some familiar TV characters.
The first is Peppa Pig, with Peppa Pig’s Sports Day. It’s a collection of six mini-games based around Peppa and her friends’ school sports day: Obstacle Race, Long jump, Ice cream maker, Bicycle race, Tug of War and Rosette Making.
There’s also a digital sticker book section, plus music and sound effects from the Peppa Pig TV show to make children feel at home.
Second up from the same developer is Fireman Sam - Junior Cadet. It’s another collection of mini-games based on that TV show: Hose Practice, Hide ‘n’ Seek, Load Jupiter, To the Rescue, Sky High Rescue and Fire Fighter.
Like the Peppa app, there’s also a digital stickering section, where children can create scenes using the stickers they’ve picked up while playing the mini-games.
Peppa Pig’s Sports Day costs £2.99, while Fireman Sam - Junior Cadet costs £1.99 – both on the Google Play store.
