Moose & Zebra children’s app explores Sweden

Moose & Zebra: Sweden

We’re guessing a moose would feel pretty comfortable in Sweden, but a zebra would be more flummoxed. Yet that’s the setup for a lovely-looking new kids’ app called Moose & Zebra: Sweden.

Released by developer DashForward Lab, it’s part of a series of apps featuring the Moose and Zebra characters exploring different parts of the world – the second following Moose & Zebra: Africa.

It’s billed as an interactive magazine, with a mixture of interactive fun aimed at developing logic, maths, memory and fine-motor skills for children.

“Kids will travel to the homeland of Moose and learn what a dala horse is, how the national flags of Scandinavian countries look like, who live in Swedish forests and much more,” explains its App Store listing.

We really like the illustration style of the app, and judging by our six year-old’s curiosity about the world, the focus on individual countries and continents should find plenty of young fans.

Moose & Zebra: Sweden costs £0.69 for iPad on Apple’s App Store and £0.69 for Android on the Google Play store.
