We love the Moomins. You love the Moomins. Don’t deny it – even if you have no idea who the Moomins are, you’ll love the famous Finnish characters.

Moomin Activity Books may be a good introduction. Published by developer Weego Software, it’s a collection of 15 digital “booklets” starring the Moomins, with an emphasis on activities that help kids develop their maths, logic and memory skills.

That means a mixture of puzzles, digital colouring, memory games and even Sudoku challenges. Weego says it’ll be adding more content every month to keep the app fresh for children. And yes, although the screenshot is in Finnish, the app supports other languages too.

Moomin Activity costs £1.99 for iPad on Apple’s App Store, and is a free download for Android on the Google Play store. In both cases, it uses in-app purchases to buy extra books for your children.
