Children playing bingo? Call the police! Oh, but wait, this bingo a.) isn’t for money and b.) is more about teaching children maths in an entertaining way.
The app is Pet Bingo by Duck Duck Moose, the US developer that’s made a succession of entertaining and educational apps over the past few years. This one looks very fun too.
As the title implies, animals play a role too: as your children complete addition, subtraction, multiplication and division exercises, they’ll earn colourful virtual pets to look after.
The exercises take place on a bingo board, and there’s a separate Report Card section for parents to check out how your children are doing. The app is aimed at 4-10 year-olds, so there’s also a spread of difficulty levels for the different exercises.
Pet Bingo by Duck Duck Moose costs £1.49 for iPhone and iPad on Apple’s App Store.
