Here’s a fab meeting of minds: music apps-for-kids developer Mibblio and reggae/hip-hop musician Matisyahu have teamed up for an iPad app.

It’s called Matisyahu’s Happy Hanukkah Jam-Along, and was released today on the App Store. The idea: children can “jam along” to Matisyahu’s Happy Hanukkah song using a variety of on-screen instruments.

Those include guitar, banjo, ukulele, harp, piano, violin, saxophone, flute and a host of percussion instrument. Bongos and cowbells included.

We loved the main Mibblio app, which came out early this year, and we also enjoyed the recent Miss Elephant’s Gerald app that Mibblio released with a band called The Pop Ups.

Now Matisyahu has joined the club. Matisyahu’s Happy Hanukkah Jam-Along costs £1.99 for iPad on Apple’s App Store. Here’s a video demo of the app:
