Both our children are fussy eaters. Actually, they’re really fussy eaters. Perhaps a new iPad app called Fussy Eater Story can help.

Released by Polish developer The Story, it’s an app all about food, promising “various recipes for dishes enhancing imagination of a little reader, as well as educational games”.

The idea: kids browse through the app’s 30 scenes and play the games to learn more about the ingredients of some of the meals they’ll (hopefully) eat in the real world.

The illustrations look full of character, and we’re particularly taken by the idea of turning cucumbers into Cucumber Hot Rod cars (above).

We’ll report back on whether it has an impact on our sons, but in the meantime, Fussy Eater Story costs £1.49 for iPad from Apple’s App Store.
