Are your children getting excited about the Moshi Monsters movie yet? It’s out in cinemas soon: the first film based on the popular virtual world for kids.

Now there’s a spin-off product to help those children make their own movies. It’s called Moshi Movies, and it’s a “make your own movie” kit that aims to get kids making miniature stop-animation stories.

The full Moshi Movies kit costs £54.95 on Amazon (although it’s £41.63 from the website of the company that makes it, Hue Animation), and includes a camera, software and various backdrops to spark children’s imagination.

However, if you already have a decent camera, you can choose to buy just the software for £19.95. It’s certainly an intriguing product, albeit fairly pricey if you’re not sure your kids will enjoy stop-motion animation.
