Music is already pretty big for children’s virtual world Moshi Monsters: its Music Rox album sold like the clappers on iTunes last year.

Now there’s an app for that. Moshi Monsters Music was released for iPhone, iPad and Android today, as a way for kids to easily watch the music videos starring its cartoon monster characters.

But not just watch. The app also offers karaoke-style lyrics while videos play, so children can learn the words and sing along. Plus make their parents sing along, naturally!

The app has been released ahead of the first Moshi Monsters movie, so there’s a trailer for that too. We’re still waiting with anticipation for the full Moshi Monsters world to make its debut in app form, but for now, the musical app will provide plenty of enjoyment for kids.

Moshi Monsters Music is a free download for iPhone and a free download for iPad on Apple’s App Store, and also a free download for Android on Google Play.
