We’ve seen our children enjoy previous Montessori educational apps from developer Les Trois Elles, including Montessori Math: Add and Subtract Large Numbers.
Now they’ve got something new on the App Store just in time for Christmas: Montessori Math Challenge. And this time, it’s for parents as well as children.
“Montessori Math Challenge is a fun mental arithmetic app for tweens, teens and even adults that will enable users to improve their skills and rapidity,” reckons the App Store listing.
For free you get fun addition games – Whiz Quiz and Bubble Game – with subtraction, multiplication and division modes available to buy as in-app purchases of £0.69 each, or £1.49 for all three.
The design is kept simple and accessible, so children will have no problems figuring out what to do. We also like the Advanced Settings menu, where you can tweak minimum and maximum sum settings to ensure the difficulty level is just right.
Montessori Math Challenge is a free download for iPhone and iPad on Apple’s App Store.
