I love Woolly and Woolly loves me… Our boys certainly loved CBeebies TV show Woolly and Tig, with its tales of young girl Tig and her friendly spider Woolly.

Now there’s an app for it, courtesy of developer Bionic. It focuses on Woolly, providing 10 ways for children to interact with him using the touchscreen of an iPhone or iPad.

“Tickle him and he’ll laugh, hug him and he’ll love them back, stroke him and he’ll sleep,” explains its App Store listing. “Woolly makes everyday activities fun. Getting Woolly dressed, cleaning Woolly’s teeth or washing Woolly’s face is fun for children too.”

If this app can persuade your kids that teeth-brushing and face-cleaning are fun, you’ll certainly love Woolly, is all we can say! There’s even a timer feature where parents can set the app to remind children that it’s time to perform their daily routines.

While the app may be more short-term fun than a long-term pleasure for your kids, young fans of the TV show will really enjoy it.
