You can’t keep a cuddly monkey down. Curious George has returned to the App Store with his latest iPad app: Curious About Letters.
Released by book publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, it’s an alphabetical adventure for pre-schoolers, teaching them upper and lower-case letters.
The app is part game and part tracing exercises: children have to find letters that have been separated from their partners, trace them on-screen, then match them in pairs.
“Curious About Letters also allows your child to record and play back each letter sound,” explains the App Store listing. “This is a fun way to learn the A-B-C’s and it creates an audible reinforcement of what your child has learned.
It’s presented with the charm and character that we’ve see in previous Curious George apps – which were the first time our sons ever encountered the character.
Curious About Letters costs £1.49 for iPad on Apple’s App Store. If your children are fans, we can recommend Curious George Helps Out at the Zoo and Curious George’s Town too.
