Whether your children love Winnie the Pooh, Cars or Disney Fairies, they’ll find something to play with in Disney’s latest app, Disney Puzzle Packs.
Released for iPhone and iPad, it’s a collection of puzzles based on six of the company’s famous brands: Monsters Inc, Disney Princess and Planes as well as the three named above.
Each pack includes six sets of puzzles: digital jigsaws, word searches, spot-the-difference pics, matching games, word jumbles and “find me games”, with three levels of difficulty for each to suit different ages.
The idea is that the app becomes a collection of puzzles, with kids picking the characters and film brands that they like best. There is clearly scope for more packs to be added in the future too, whether from famous Disney movies of the past, or brand new ones like Frozen.
Disney Puzzle Packs is a free download for iPhone and iPad from Apple’s App Store, with a free sample puzzle of each type included in the initial (quite-large – 431MB) download.
The individual packs are sold as in-app purchases though: each costs £1.49, or you can pay £6.99 for all six at once “with a grownup’s permission” as the App Store listing puts it.
