There are a growing number of excellent music apps for kids, but how many have heroic powers? Meet Music Superheroes.
Released for iPhone and iPad this week, it’s the work of developer Lisbon Labs, following previous app Math Superheroes onto the App Store.
“Music Superheroes is the app that will teach your children music concepts and skills while they play with Mathy and Matteo,” explains its App Store listing.
The app is divided between five chapters covering tempo, rhythm, notes, instruments and music production, with a mixture of cartoon characters, colourful games and music creation.
We like the look of the app, and its simplicity: this is aimed at young children rather than older, proficient music-makers. It looks like a great introduction to the world of music, with the focus on fun rather than rote exercises.
Music Superheroes costs £1.49 for iPhone and iPad on Apple’s App Store.
