So much for the World Cup then: England have been knocked out after just two of their group games. If your kids are bereft, maybe Brazil – Animal Adventures for Kids will cheer them up.
(Of course, if your children don’t support England, they may still be cheery about the World Cup. Unless they’re Spanish.)
Anyway, this is the new app from Fox & Sheep, the developer of some of our favourite children’s apps including Petting Zoo and Little Fox Music Box. It’s an animal app focused on Brazil, with more than 30 beasts for your children to investigate.
That means a neatly-illustrated digital picture book, with kids able to tap on the animals to see animations and sounds, with extra information available about them and their environment.
Football? Well, football is a somewhat loose tie-in, if we’re honest, but there are soccer aspects to be found as your children explore the app.
Brazil – Animal Adventures for Kids costs £1.99 for iPhone and iPad from Apple’s App Store.
