With 10 animated backdrops, this book follows Rose on her day at the beach, from choosing her swimsuit to gathering seashells and building a sandcastle.

Alongside two memory games and an observation game, there is also a song to sing along with, and the app also supports the English, Spanish and French languages, so is a great way for little learners to practice some holiday words.

Like many book apps of this type, children have the option to listen to a narrator or read it alone, which is ideal for new readers building confidence.
