If your children loved the first Angry Birds Star Wars game, you’ll want to mark 19 September in your diary, as it’s when Angry Birds Star Wars II comes out for mobile devices.
What’s more, this time it’ll be accompanied by a range of toys from Hasbro called Telepods, which as we explained in our news story last month, will be figures from the Angry Birds Star Wars universe that your children can ‘teleport in’ to the games to play digitally too, using the camera to scan them.
How much will the Telepods cost, though? Hasbro has provided details and a price list for parents wondering how many pennies to save. Brace yourselves: the initial range of Telepods will range from £5.99 to £39.99, starting at £5.99 for an Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods Figure Pack with two figures and a Telepods base.
Then it’s £9.99 for the Jedi vs Sith multi-pack, which includs six figures (including two only found with this set); and £12.99 for a ‘Telepods Set’ with more famous characters – two per pack, with Count Dooku and bounty hunters featuring.
£19.99 will get you a Telepods Vehicle Pack: “Place your Rebel Bird in the vehicle, pull back and send him launching off the ramp to defeat the evil Pig Empire with an epic crash”. Options here are Endor Chase and Death Star Trench Run, again including two figures per pack.
Finally, the £39.99 option is the Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods Star Destroyer, which includes 10 figures and 20 piece to make a Star Destroyer (then knock it down, obviously).
