We love the Me Books app, which collects digital picture books from a range of authors and brands. And we’re also big fans of Adam & Joe, the comedians/directors/radio DJs. Today brings good news spanning both.
Adam Buxton is on voice narration duties for the latest storybook to be added to Me Books: Chris Judge’s The Brave Beast. It’s the second of his beastly tales to be available on Me Books, following The Lonely Beast.
And in truth, they’re not beastly at all: this time round the Beast is trying to “restore peace to an island, which is being threatened by a scary monster”. The new story costs £1.99 as an in-app purchase from the Me Books store, and as in other cases, it lets you and your children record your own voices and noises throughout the story.
That said, Adam does a grand job with his voice narration, so make sure you listen to that first. Me Books is a free download for iPhone and iPad from Apple’s App Store.
