It’s more than a year since we wrote about the iOS version of Lego Duplo Train. Now it’s available for Android smartphones and tablets too.
Based on Lego’s younger-but-still-bricky sister brand Duplo, the app gets kids to drive a train: “choosing and loading wagons, building bridges, stopping at crossings, refueling and laying new tracks around pesky rocks”.
It’s aimed at toddlers and pre-schoolers, with the promise of no in-app purchases or advertising. Well, other people’s advertising: you could see the whole app as an ad for Duplo, obviously.
Anyway, it was fun on iOS, so it’s good news for Android-owning parents that it’s now available for their devices too. Lego Duplo Train is a free download from the Google Play store.
