Charlie and Lola get their own Me Books app

Got kids who love Charlie and Lola? Get thee to the App Store for Charlie and Lola Me Books, a brand new collection of digital stories from Penguin Books.

Available on iPhone and iPad, the app is based on the existing Me Books app. That means stories with voice narration – in this case from the TV show’s cast – and the option to draw “hot spots” on the screen to record you and/or your children telling the story.

Up to three versions of these recordings can be saved to listen to later – good if you have two or more children, or if they insist (as ours have with the original Me Books) on press-ganging visiting uncles, aunts and grandparents into narration duties.

Charlie and Lola Me Books costs £1.99 for iPhone and iPad on Apple’s App Store, and that includes one story: Whoops! But it Wasn’t Me.

An in-app shop has nine more available as individual £1.99 downloads, including This is ACTUALLY My Party, I’m Really Ever so NOT Well, and gritty sibling-relationships documentary I’ve Won, NO I’VE WON, No I’ve Won.
