Little Zebra Shopper app goes Gold with no in-app purchases

We were charmed by iPad app Little Zebra Shopper when it came out in July: it was a pretend cash register that scanned in real products.

(Well, ‘real’ in the sense of packaging designs that you downloaded from a website, printed out, stuck to card and then folded together into boxes.)

It was a free app using in-app purchases for different product sets like ‘Dinner’ and ‘Breakfast’, but now its developer has released a new Little Zebra Shopper Gold Edition version that bundles everything into one up-front price.

It’s a good move: parents can try the free version to see how their kids like it, or go straight for the paid one to get all the products included.

Little Zebra Shopper Gold Edition costs £1.49 for iPad from Apple’s App Store. And if your children love it, check out this blog post on the developer’s site about printable Little Zebra Shopper banknotes and coins to use with the app.
