We’ve liked several of developer PopAppFactory‘s Mini-U children’s apps, including Mini-U: The Kitchen and Mini-U: My Home. The latest features a perennial kids’ fave: dinosaurs.
It’s called Mini-U: Dinosaurs Pairs Matching Game, and it came out for iPad this month. The name says it all, really: it’s a dino-themed matching pairs game played on Apple’s tablet.
Well, there is a bit more to say than that, thankfully. The game offers three different levels: a grid of eight cards (i.e. four pairs), 24 cards (12 pairs) or 40 cards (20 pairs).
The dinosaurs are brightly coloured and neatly drawn, too. The app reads out their names as your child is playing, so they can hear how to pronounce them. Something many parents will be glad of, too!
It’s a simple but fun matching-pairs app that will please any prehistoric-loving child, anyway. Mini-U: Dinosaur Pairs costs £1.49 for iPad from Apple’s App Store.
