We’ve written before about our children’s penchant for CBeebies TV show Boj, when covering spin-off app Boj – The Collector. Now there’s another for fans of the show.

It’s called Boj – Hoppy Birthday, and was released earlier this month for iPhone and iPad by Box of Frogs Media, which also makes the show itself.

It’s a storybook app with added games and music, as well as voice narration from actor and musician Jason Donovan: a feature we suspect will be as exciting for parents of a certain age as it is for their children.

“Today is Rupa’s birthday. Boj helps Mia choose something special enough to give Rupa at her birthday party, but before Mia can hand her the wrapped-up skipping rope, Gavin gives Rupa the Skipsolo 800,” explains the App Store listing, outlining the plot.

Your kids can expect 24 pages of story, with interactivity on every one, plus birthday-themed mini-games and a karaoke game section with Jason.
